The new type of lithium battery developed by it can significantly reduce the cost of the battery and increase its energy density, resulting in shorter battery charging time, more storage power, and longer durability. In the words of Prof. Wu Yuping, using this kind of battery to charge for about 10 seconds and charging about 60 degrees of electricity, a new energy electric vehicle can run for 400 kilometers continuously, and electric vehicles currently on the market are available for sale. Travel distance is 150-180 km. If a new type of water lithium battery is used in a mobile phone, the standby time can be doubled than the current standby time of the mobile phone, and the charging time is just a cup of tea.

Existing foreign institutions have cooperation intentions

According to Professor Wu Yuping, Lithium-Ion Battery is one of the frontiers and directions for current research and development of lithium batteries. It uses conventional aqueous solutions to replace the organic electrolyte solutions in traditional lithium batteries. It has high safety performance and will not catch fire. In addition, the new type of lithium battery uses an aqueous solution as an electrolyte, which enhances the flame retardancy, making the battery less prone to heating during use, and the safety performance and cost are significantly superior to existing lithium-ion batteries.
