New solar panels: cool in winter and cool in summer

The ULMA AgrÃcola consortium and the TECNALIA research center in Spain have developed a new type of solar photovoltaic panel that will not adversely affect the crops grown in the greenhouses while generating electricity, but also cool in the summer. The design principle of this system is to use the changes in the height of the sun throughout the year to adjust the mode of action of the system. Although in theory, there will be no sun in winter, but the summer excess sunshine can find some of the winter come back. According to the summer tests conducted during the first phase, the system can increase power generation by 15% compared to the conventional simple solar tracking machinery.
