The spiral groove machining of the milling cutter reamer is generally carried out by using a slot milling machine or a conventional milling machine with a 60° half-tip tip and a top end of the plum blossom to withstand the workpiece. However, the milling and reamer which have a relatively large length and long diameter are difficult to process due to the large slenderness ratio, and the workpiece is easily bent and deformed. For example, a straight shank end mill with an outer diameter of φ8 mm and a length of 100 mm is used, and the reject rate is 30%. So we improved the fixture to achieve a pass rate of 100%.
