China's machine tool exports in the world's eighth European market

Schafer, general manager of the German Machine Tool Manufacturers Association (VDW), said in Shanghai on the 12th that China's machine tool exports have ranked eighth in the world, and Europe has become an important market for Chinese machine tool exports. He predicted that China's machine tool consumption in 2013 will increase by 12% to 38 billion US dollars.

At the "2013 Hannover European Machine Tool Show (EMO)" promotion conference held here, Schaefer said that the European market currently accounts for 24% of China's total machine tool exports, and the market size is about 600 million US dollars.

Relevant information shows that the scale of the international machine tool market has more than doubled in 20 years, reaching about 86 billion US dollars in 2011. Since the turn of the century, machine tool consumption has increased by an average of nearly 10% per year (in US dollars). The main driver of growth came from Asia, where three-fifths of international machine tool production in 2011 went into the region.

It is estimated that investment in large-scale infrastructure in 2013 will boost China's economic growth, especially for high-speed railways, urban rail transit, airports and power grid expansion. China's industrial infrastructure modernization process is accelerating, and the demand for efficient modern manufacturing technology is increasing.

“China’s machine tool purchases will continue to rise and are expected to increase by nearly 12% in 2013 to reach $38.1 billion, which is driven by almost every user industry,” Schaefer said.

Hannover European Machine Tool Show (EMO) is the world's metal processing industry event. EMO2013 is based on the theme of “smart production” and will be held in Hanover, Germany from September 16th to 21st next year. At that time, manufacturers of manufacturing technologies will be displayed in various countries to fully display metal processing products, solutions and services.

According to the organizer, Chinese machine tool companies attach great importance to the opportunity to showcase “Made in China”. As of November, 32 Chinese companies have signed up for the exhibition, more than double the same period last year.

The flow direction is settable. There are 4 options, forward(default), reverse, absolute value & bi-direction. There is a direction mark on the sensor. Forward means the same direction with the mark on sensor, the meter will only count the flow in this direction; reverse means the opposite direction of the mark, the meter will only count the reverse direction; bidirectional means that the meter will measure both directions, it increases when it is forward and decreases when reverse; absolute means it increases no matter it is forward or reverse.
