Russian fiberglass manufacturer BauTex builds new Polish factory

The Russian glass fiber manufacturer BauTex Group recently established a new factory in Pabianice, Poland, and took over the original “Pabianician technical textile” factory on June 1, 2011. The original factory had 65 employees. Starting from that date, a four-day production system was introduced.

BauTex of Poland will focus on the production of high-quality meshes for exterior insulation systems and geotextiles for highways and airports. These products are made of glass fiber, carbon fiber or polyester fiber.

BauTex Group is a joint venture between Russia and Germany. It is a large glass fiber producer and distributor of glass fiber reinforced plastic raw materials.

BauTex's factory in Crystal City, Russia, produces fiberglass wallpapers (currently in Russia alone), fiberglass construction meshes, geotextiles, grinding wheel meshes, rovings, and SMC/BMC composites.

Over the years, BauTex has not only actively developed and maintained business relationships in Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States, but also exported its products to Western Europe.
