A set of data shows the success of the “bottleback fee”. According to 2012 data, the safety recovery rate of German cans, glass bottles and plastic bottles is 98.5%, and the volume of domestic waste is reduced by 40%-50%.

At present, 40 countries and regions in the world have implemented a deposit refund system. Driven by the deposit refund system, the recovery rate of beverage standard packaging in most implementing countries can reach more than 90%.
