Experiments and applications have shown that new functionalized diamonds play a major role in the tool:
        1) improving the bonding ability of the bonding agent to the diamond, and the functional layer functions as a bonding bridge between the two to improve the bonding strength between the abrasive and the bonding agent;
        2) Increasing the grain strength of the abrasive, and the functional layer acts as a reinforcing and toughening effect;
        3) Isolation protection. In high temperature sintering and high temperature grinding, the functional layer can be isolated to protect the diamond from graphitization, oxidation and other chemical reactions.
