Valve classification

By function and use

(1) Cut-off categories: such as gate valves, globe valves, plug valves, ball valves, butterfly valves, needle valves, diaphragm valves, etc. The shut-off valve, also known as the closed-circuit valve, is used to switch on or off the medium in the pipeline.

Check valve, check valve is also called check valve or check valve. Check valve is an automatic valve, which is used to prevent backflow of medium in the pipeline, prevent reverse rotation of pump and drive motor, and leakage of container media. . The bottom valve of the water pump suction is also a check valve.

Explosion-proof valves, accident valves, etc. The purpose of the safety valve is to prevent the pressure of the medium in the pipeline or device from exceeding the specified value for the purpose of safety protection.

The regulating valve, the throttle valve and the pressure reducing valve are used to adjust parameters such as pressure and flow rate of the medium.

(6) Vacuum: such as vacuum ball valve, vacuum flapper valve, vacuum inflation valve, pneumatic vacuum valve, etc. The function of the vacuum system used in the vacuum system to change the direction of the airflow, adjust the flow of the gas, and cut or close the pipeline is called a vacuum valve.

(7) Special purpose categories: such as pigging valves, venting valves, drain valves, exhaust valves, filters, etc. The exhaust valve is an indispensable auxiliary component in the pipeline system and is widely used in boilers, air conditioners, oil and gas, water supply and drainage pipes. It is often installed at the commanding heights or elbows to eliminate excess gas in the pipeline, improve the efficiency of the road use and reduce energy consumption.

By nominal pressure

(1) Vacuum valve: refers to a valve whose working pressure is lower than the standard atmospheric pressure.

Low pressure valve: refers to the valve with nominal pressure PN ≤1.6Mpa.

(3) Medium pressure valve: refers to the valve with nominal pressure PN of 2.5Mpa, 4.0Mpa and 6.4Mpa.

High pressure valve: refers to a valve with a working pressure PN of 10.0Mpa to 80.0Mpa.

Ultra high pressure valve: refers to the valve with nominal pressure PN ≥ 100.0Mpa.

(6) Filter: refers to the nominal pressure PN of 1.0Mpa, 1.6Mpa
