The annual output of one million tons of ethylene refining and chemical integration project is the largest production project invested by Tianjin Petrochemical in recent years. In the past, the waste water discharged from the factory was concentrated in an open-pit concrete tank and then treated by a purification device. The sewage still smelled bad. Tianjin Petrochemical Water Department noticed this problem, introduced and digested foreign equipment, built a new waste gas biological treatment device with a treatment capacity of 25000 Nm3/h in the sewage treatment area, collected waste gas from the cement pool in the sewage area, and sent it to the exhaust gas device for purification. , In order to achieve the standard, odorless emissions.

In December last year, the Ministry of Environmental Protection's expert review meeting for the one-million-ton ethylene refining and chemical integration project held in Tianjin Petrochemical Corporation assessed that the project has improved environmental protection measures and not only achieved discharge standards but also reduced emissions year by year.

In 2012 alone, Tianjin Petrochemical invested a total of 146 million yuan for the improvement and construction of safety and environmental protection potential treatment facilities.
