Six major mistakes in floor purchase

Recently, the reporter visited the floor areas of major home stores, and saw that many manufacturers will issue different versions of the purchase guide, and the major decoration building materials forums are often posted in different versions of the purchase of common sense. The thicker and more durable the plate, the lower the moisture content, the better the large-size floor. In fact, there are many misunderstandings. In this issue, we invite Fang Chongrong, a professor-level senior engineer of the Forest Products Quality Inspection and Testing Center (Hangzhou) of the State Forestry Administration, and the Secretary General of the Zhejiang Flooring Association to analyze common misunderstandings and help you scientifically select the floor.

Misunderstanding 1: The more expensive the tree species, the higher the floor grade. Many people blindly worship the precious tree species, think that the more expensive the tree species, the higher the floor grade, and the shopping guides also highly recommend the floor of the precious tree species.

Expert analysis: Different tree species have their own natural attributes, and their characteristics are slightly different after processing into a floor. For example, the valuable teak flooring has stable performance, environmental protection and good thermal conductivity. However, if the home is geothermal heating, there is a risk of deformation and cracking; although the pine floor is slightly inferior in abrasion resistance, it has good elasticity, good foot feeling, sound insulation and moisture resistance. Good performance, suitable for families with children, the elderly; the ash floor is hard, the feet feel slightly poor, but the wood moisture content is low, not easy to deform. Before consumers buy, it is best to ask clearly, according to the style of home decoration, economic conditions and family preferences, do not need to blindly worship the precious tree species.

Myth 2: The thicker the board, the more durable the floor. In recent years, the thickness of the floor has been increasing, and even the floor of 13 mm, 15 mm has appeared. This trend has caused many consumers to have the illusion that the thicker and more weight the floor is, the stronger and durable it is.

Expert analysis: In fact, the thick plate is the same as the thin plate, the surface can not be used once it is worn out. Therefore, the quality of the floor covering is largely related to the service life of the wooden floor, not the thickness of the floor. If the material and workmanship of the floor is poor, even if the plate is thicker, the service life will not be too long. Therefore, the strength of the floor manufacturers, quality wood and crafts can ensure the quality of the floor.

Myth 3: Imported flooring must be better than domestic ones. Many shopping guides emphasize "input goods" when they sell their own products. They usually also include the words "imported flooring, which is better than domestic ones."

Expert analysis: Whether the wood is imported or domestically produced, its natural attributes will not change, so consumers should not blindly believe in imported products. Some domestic flooring brands also attach great importance to product quality and reputation. Consumers can go to the regular store to purchase. In addition, when purchasing, you can also view the test report. If the product is qualified, you can use it with confidence.

Myth 4: Blindly pursuing low water content. Some netizens posted that the lower the moisture content of the floor, the better, preferably below 13%.

Expert analysis: the moisture content of solid wood flooring is not as low as possible, because the floor will be affected by factors such as air humidity during use, and its index is best balanced with the annual average moisture content of the site (that is, the wood finally reaches a certain temperature and humidity). The level of moisture absorption or stable moisture content is equivalent. The water content of solid wood flooring is set at 7% in national standards, and there are slight differences in various regions. For example, in Beijing, the moisture content of solid wood flooring is 8%-11%. The test and calculation of the moisture content of the floor is very complicated. Usually, consumers can't self-test, and consumers can check the test report to get the data when they purchase.

Myth 5: The higher the hardness, the stronger the floor. Some people pursue high hardness when purchasing the floor, and think that the higher the floor hardness, the stronger and more durable.

Expert analysis: The high hardness of the floor indicates that its density is large, the weight is heavy, the strength is strong, and the scratch resistance is strong. This has certain reason, but as long as the product meets the national standard, it is not necessary to pursue the hardness blindly. In addition, the floor with high hardness has small elasticity and poor foot feeling, especially in the spring and autumn seasons in the northern region, it will feel very cool. The floor with low hardness is less resistant to wear, but the insulation and sound insulation are better. Therefore, floors with different hardness have their own advantages and disadvantages, and should be selected according to personal preference.

Myth 6: Large size floor joints are less and more beautiful. Many consumers are blindly pursuing large-size, large-size floors when buying the floor. They think that the seams are less and more beautiful.

Expert analysis: The larger the floor size, the greater the internal and external stress difference and the degree of swelling and shrinkage, and the more easily deformed, so the requirements for the paving process and the use environment are higher. In environments with large changes in humidity and temperature, the use of narrow strips reduces the risk of deformation. In general, the optimum size of the floor is preferably no more than 1.2 meters in length and 7 to 9 cm in width.

Electronic Cigars

Electronic cigarettes are mainly composed of three parts: a pipe containing nicotine solution, an evaporation device and a battery. The atomizer is powered by a battery rod, which can convert the liquid nicotine in the cartridge into mist, so that the user has a smoking-like feeling when inhaling, and realizes "puffing the cloud". It can add various flavors of spices such as chocolate and mint to the pipe according to personal preference.

The internal structure of the cigarette rod uses the same basic components: a light PCBA board, rechargeable batteries, various electronic circuits.
Most electronic cigarettes use lithium-ion and secondary battery power components. Battery life depends on battery type and size, usage and operating environment. And there are many different types of battery chargers to choose from, such as socket direct charging, car chargers, and USB interface chargers. The battery is the largest component of an e-cigarette.
Some e-cigarettes use an electronic airflow sensor to activate the heating element, which activates the battery circuit upon inhalation. Whereas manual induction requires the user to press a button and then smoke. Pneumatic is easy to use, the manual circuit is relatively more stable than the pneumatic, and the smoke output is better than the pneumatic. With the development of hardware and software, some manufacturers have begun to develop fully automatic machines to manufacture electronic cigarettes, eliminating the use of manual wiring, welding or electronics to achieve higher safety and reliability.
