In the next three years, global sales of rubber chemicals will continue to grow at an average annual growth rate of 4.7%, and demand will reach approximately 1.4 million tons in 2015.

The group also pointed out that demand for rubber chemicals in the Asia Pacific region will lead the world, especially China. Demand for rubber chemicals in the Asia-Pacific region will increase rapidly at an average annual growth rate of 8.1%, and will surpass 575,000 tons by 2015. In contrast, the annual growth rate of demand for rubber chemicals in the United States, Western Europe and Japan will be less than 1% in the next few years.

Antioxidant demand is expected to grow at an average annual rate of 4.6%. By 2015, the demand for accelerators is expected to exceed 415,000 tons, and the demand for processing aids and tackifiers will reach nearly 130,000 tons.
