NSK bearing pressure casting is called die casting; it is a method of filling a mold cavity with a liquid or semi-liquid metal at a high speed under high pressure effect; and condensing under pressure effect to obtain a casting.
1. The process of pressure casting firstly hydraulically presses the metal into the pressure chamber; the piston hydraulically presses the alloy into the closed mold; the metal is condensed under pressure; then the piston is retracted; the split type is pressed; the top rod is pushed out of the die casting. The pressure casting is used. The equipment is die-casting machine; the mold used is pressed.
2. Features of NSK bearing pressure casting (1) The precision and surface quality of castings are high; the precision is TTl2~ITlO; the roughness is Ra3.2~O. 8 H m. It can cast thin walls and inserts with intricate shapes; and can directly cast small holes, threads, etc.
(2) Progress in mechanical properties. Because pressure casting is crystallization under pressure; fine grain; its tensile strength is 25% to 40% higher than sand casting.
(3) High production efficiency; easy to complete automation; die casting machine can die-cast hundreds of parts per hour.
(4) The equipment is invested heavily; the cost of producing the mold is high; the first is suitable for mass production.
(5) Not suitable for the production of high melting point alloys; such as steel, cast iron, etc. In addition; the inside of the casting is prone to pores and shrinkage holes; it is not easy to choose mechanical processing and heat treatment.
3. The use of NSK bearing pressure casting is mainly used for the mass production of small and irregular castings of non-ferrous alloys; it is widely used in the production of automotive, aerospace, electrical, exterior, and photographic parts.
