Cascading port bandwidth: IPCAM code stream * number = minimum bandwidth of the upload port. Generally, when the IPCAM bandwidth exceeds 60 Mbps, it is recommended to use a 1000M cascade port. For example, the bandwidth required by a camera with more than 8 8M streams is 8M*8=64Mbps, it is recommended to use Gigabit interface.

4, optical transmission accessories: including optical modules, optical cables, optical jumpers, pigtails, corresponding interface couplers (such as SC-LC, LC-LC, etc.), optical distribution frames or wiring boxes.

5. Core switch: Select the appropriate switch according to the access switch of the front end and the total bandwidth of the camera data exchange. The calculation method of the packet forwarding rate and backplane bandwidth of the switch is given below.

Packet forwarding rate: The packet forwarding rate of a 100M port is 0.1488Mpps/s, and so on is the packet forwarding rate of Gigabit or 10Gbit. The packet forwarding rate of a camera is about 2.6Kbps, which fully meets the requirements.

Backplane bandwidth=port number*port speed*2, such as 24-port 100M core switch (including two gigabit ports) bandwidth is (24*100*2+2*1000*2)/1000=8.8Gbps/S.

Packet exchange rate: Port number* Port speed/1000*1.488Mpps=Packet exchange rate, such as 24-port 100M core switch packet exchange rate is 24*100/1000*1.488=3.60Mpps/S, sometimes the packet exchange rate of some switches If it is calculated that this requirement cannot be met, then it is a non-wire-speed switch. When a large amount of throughput is performed, it is easy to cause delay.

6. Storage device: It is divided into hard disk recorder and centralized storage device, and select the appropriate device according to the number of camera channels.
