Jiang Diamond's commercial leak case final ruling

Jianghan Petroleum Drill Bit Co., Ltd. (Shenzhen Exchange Code: 000852, hereinafter referred to as Jiang Diamond Co., Ltd.) announced on May 29 that the natural person’s success in infringing his trade secrets has been finalized.
In 2007, the Qianjiang Municipal People's Procuratorate accused Yu Fafen of committing a crime of infringement of trade secrets. The defendant, Xingfafen, was accused of violating the requirements of Jiangdian’s conservative trade secrets and illegally used its secret technology for the development and production of the tri-cone bit by Tianjin Lilin Drill Co., Ltd. until June 30, 2006. The shares caused direct economic losses of 10.69 million yuan.
The Qianjiang City People’s Court therefore involved in commercial secrets and conducted a non-public trial. On November 26, 2007, a criminal judgment was filed, and the crime of infringement of trade secrets was punishable by a sin, and it was sentenced to 6 years in prison and fined 5 Ten thousand yuan.
Fortunately, Fafa was dissatisfied and appealed. The Hanjiang Intermediate People's Court of Hubei Province did not openly hear the case on May 5, 2008 and made a final ruling on May 20, 2008: dismissed the appeal and upheld the original judgment.
Xing Fafen was a senior engineer of Jiangdui Co., and resigned in 2001 and entered Tianjin Lilin Drill Co., Ltd. as the technical department minister.
