3. Fluorescence separation method
It has also been suggested that diamonds are fluorescent, that is, they emit fluorescence that is visible to the naked eye under ultraviolet or x-ray illumination. Generally blue or white or light yellow. It can be distinguished by UV lamp, fluorescent lamp or counterfeit pen. This method can also distinguish some other gems or minerals.
