Heat pipe application principle

The heat pipe is an excellent heat transfer component. It is mainly a closed metal pipe with a small amount of working medium inside, and the air in the pipe has been excluded. At room temperature, the tube is in a vacuum state.
The working principle of the heat pipe is to use the principle of lowering the boiling point of the liquid in the vacuum state, the liquid generates evaporation, and the heat transfer is performed by the latent heat of evaporation, because the latent heat of vaporization of the same substance is much higher than the sensible heat, so its heat transfer capacity Relative to the traditional conduction, convection, radiation to 1 to 3 orders of magnitude higher, known as heat transfer "superconductors."

The liquid in the section (evaporation section) close to the heat source absorbs heat and evaporates, and a pressure gradient is generated. The vapor carries the latent heat of vaporization and flows through the cavity to another section (condensing section). The vaporization heat exchanges heat with the external cold medium via the tube wall. The latent heat completes the heat transfer task, condenses into a liquid, and flows back to the evaporation section by gravity to enter the next working session. When the heat pipe is in operation, the steam is saturated in the heat pipe, and the pressure depends on the actual temperature at that time.
