Stone products from the mining and processing, design to construction and installation of the entire chain, need to pay attention to every aspect. However, as a final step, stone construction is particularly important. More precisely, construction paving is one of the most important steps that determine the visual effect of the building's visual effects required by building companies, supply companies, pavers, and installers.
Past experience tells us that the problem of stone decoration and decoration, or the problem between the application and construction of most stone materials, is due to the “incorrect paving methodâ€. In other words, the problem does not come from the stone itself, but because people do not know enough about the details of stone paving, causing problems in construction. However, after the problems with paving, it is only stone that is often placed on the trial stage.
"Construction pavement" as the final process of the entire project, determines whether there will be problems in the stone decoration. Therefore, in order to make the decorated building beautiful and safe, we must understand the basic steps of the paving work.
First, prepare the pavement and the base. The bearing layer is a plane (the ground bearing layer is natural and artificial, and the wall bearing layer is artificial). The role of this plane is to support the load from the upper member. Its properties should be sturdy, supportive, stable and leaktight. The stone veneer base is a member on which stone veneer paving is performed directly. When paving the ground, this base serves to disperse the vertical load and tension so that these forces are supported by the bearing layer without collapsing.
When paving the wall, the load generated by the transfer of the wall facing to the foundation through the fixing device (back bolt, mud, adhesive, fasteners, etc.). Due to the variety of construction methods, the foundation is also varied. When paving the ground, the foundation may be one of many standard functional layers under the ground (such as a leveling layer or an acoustic layer, etc.), or an existing floor (such as wooden, synthetic stone, ceramics) Or leveling layer (reference layer). If it is a paved wall, the facade will be a visible wall, a concrete wall, a plaster wall, or a clay brick. The base layer and bearing layer of the stone veneer do not need to deliberately maintain the same, but sometimes the two can be uniformly paved. For example, when laying a building floor or laying a wall exterior finish, it can be laid directly on the concrete load-bearing wall.
Next, prepare a hybrid adhesive. The hybrid adhesive is applied between the base and the stone veneer. This kind of product, except that a small part of it is already pre-mixed and ready to use, is generally prepared on the spot before the paving of the stone veneer. The preparation of these hybrid adhesives requires plasters, thin slurries, glues, and adhesives; the tools required are barrels, spatulas, water, measuring cups, and gauges. In addition, in order to reconcile security considerations, we must also prepare some protective equipment.
Third, formal paving operations. The formal paving of the stone veneer sheet is to lay the stone floor sheet or wall sheet in order on the floor or the desired decorative wall. This is an important transformation process in which all design ideas and preparation work are actually implemented.
This stage can be divided into two steps. The first step is to extend and position the connecting materials (stucco, thin mud, adhesives, and wall-covered "dry" mechanical fixtures); and second, according to the texture of the plates ( In order to form a certain pattern, reflect the value of the texture, etc.) Fix the plate, make up for all the uneven defects in the lower layer and other issues.
The fourth caulking, jointing. This process is the use of appropriate materials (stucco, sealant, thin mud, joint fillers, etc.) to close the gap between the plate and the plate on the pavement, this is the follow-up operation of the formal paving operation, it It does not belong to the formal paving operation, so there is a time gap between filling and jointing and formal paving.
Fifth, further refurbishment of the surface of the veneer sheet (ground only). In this process, the ground is ground and polished. If the floor covering is a wool board, the site is pre-specified. Possible additional work is the use of wax and protective (oil, water) and waterproof products.
