Design and application of dust removal device for welding station
1 Overview
The working environment of the riveting workshop is relatively harsh. During the welding process, a large amount of metal dust and toxic substances such as manganese oxide, zinc oxide, acetaldehyde, rosin acid, isocyanate, nitrogen oxides, sulfides and carbon are generated. Hydrogen compounds, etc., most of which float in the air in the form of a combined state, and are mostly submicron particles, which are easily absorbed by the human body and are harmful to the health of workers, leading to occupational diseases such as chronic poisoning, lung disease and neurasthenia.
According to the requirements of ISO14001 Environmental Management System and OHSAS18000 Occupational Health and Safety Management System, the welding workshop must treat pollutants such as welding fumes and can not cause secondary pollution. Through the company's research and discovery, the out-of-purchase welding station dust removal system has high cost and long implementation period, which is inferior to the company's existing plant and welding station design. To this end, the company independently developed a simple welding station dust removal device to improve the working environment of the welding shop, eliminate welding fumes, and provide a good working environment for employees.
2. Design of dust removal device
The dust removal system consists of a dust removal fan, a dust cover, a wire feeder and related accessories. During operation, the dust removal fan is placed at the edge of the welding station, the dust cover is fixed on the wire feeder, and can follow the welding gun to rotate around the central axis of the wire feeder and move up and down to ensure that it takes up as little as possible of the lower workpiece placement and welder. Work space and maximum access to the source of welding fumes. The composition of the dust removal system is shown in Figure 1.
