China's precision gear with independent intellectual property rights has been successfully developed
Recently, the "Eleventh Five-Year" National 863 Program key project "High-precision standard gear and gear cutter manufacturing technology" undertaken by Dalian University of Technology passed the project acceptance.
Under the leadership of Academic Leader Wang Liding, the research team has overcome key technologies such as ultra-precision standard gear grinding machine design, ultra-precision gear processing technology and benchmark standard gear testing, and completed the refinement of standard gear grinding machine tools. The ultra-precision standard gear processing accuracy has been comprehensively improved. Tested by the German Institute of Technical Physics and the China Institute of Metrology, the modulus 2 and modulus 4 standard gears processed by this technology achieve ISO1 accuracy, and the modular 6 standard gear achieves 2 accuracy.

Precision gear processing technology plays a key role in many important fields such as industrial production, aerospace and military equipment, and has an important strategic position. The accuracy of the gear is divided into 0-12 grades, of which 6 grades are high-precision gears, mainly used in high-speed transmission occasions such as automobiles and machine tools; 5 or more are precision gears, mainly used in aerospace engines, etc. Where the transmission is required; Grade 3 or higher is the reference gear, which is mainly used as the benchmark for national or international gear gauge calibration and accuracy transmission.
The benchmark gear developed by Dalian University of Technology has filled the domestic gap and has been applied in the National Metrology Institute and AVIC Beijing Great Wall Metrology and Testing Technology Research Institute. The effect is good.
