Many aniline production facilities have also been completed and put into production. The production capacity has increased substantially, but the market demand has not kept pace with the increase in output. Supply exceeds demand. The situation began to show.

First, the rapid increase in demand for aniline is an important basic organic chemical raw materials, mainly used in polyurethane, rubber chemicals, pharmaceuticals, pesticides, dyes, etc., with a wide range of applications. The industrial production of aniline has been more than 170 years old since 1843. China began production in 1952 and it has more than 60 years of history. At present, the aniline production processes at home and abroad are basically based on nitrobenzene catalytic hydrogenation.

In the 1980s, the consumption of aniline in the world was more than 1.5 million tons. By the beginning of the 21st century, it had reached more than 3 million tons, and it has now reached more than 5 million tons. For a long time, the United States, Europe, Japan and other places are the world's major consumers of aniline, and their consumption accounts for about 75% of the world's share. In recent years, the demand of emerging countries such as China and India has rapidly risen and it has occupied about 40% of the market share.

At present, the annual production capacity of aniline in China is 1.3 million tons. In addition, some enterprises produce aniline on their own as the company's supporting raw materials. The production capacity in this area is over 800,000 tons, and the combined production capacity of the two is 2.1 million tons. There are more than 20 aniline production enterprises in the country, among which there are 13 enterprises with an annual production capacity of over 50,000 tons, 7 enterprises with an annual production capacity of over 100,000 tons, and enterprises with an annual production capacity of over 200,000 tons. 3 homes. Major companies are: Shandong Yantai Wanhua Company (annual production capacity of 360,000 tons), Bayer MaterialScience (China) Corporation (annual production capacity of 280,000 tons), Sinopec Nanhua Company (annual production capacity of 260,000 tons), Shandong Jinling Chemical company (annual production capacity is 240,000 tons), Jilin Cornell Chemical Company (annual production capacity is 180,000 tons), Shanghai Lianheng Chemical Company (annual production capacity is 180,000 tons), Jiangsu Taixing Xinpu Chemical Company (annual production capacity is 140,000 yuan Tons), Shanxi Tianji Coal Chemical Company (annual production capacity of 130,000 tons) and so on. From a geographical perspective, East China is the major producer of aniline in China, and the production scale in Shandong, Jiangsu, and Shanghai accounts for 70% to 80% of the country's total.

Over the years, the demand for aniline in the Chinese market has been increasing year by year, and the increase has been large. In the mid-1990s, the demand for aniline was 100,000 tons nationwide, reaching 200,000 tons at the end of the 20th century, 300,000 tons at the beginning of the 21st century, 500,000 tons in 2005, 750,000 tons in 2007, and 850,000 in 2009 Tons, reaching 880,000 tons in 2011. Since some aniline produced by its own production companies did not participate in commercial circulation, it is estimated that the actual consumption of aniline in the market in 2011 will be around 1.5 million tons.

Some companies that need a lot of aniline as raw materials have also joined the ranks of production. Among them, supporting the production of aniline by itself has caused a rapid expansion of aniline production capacity in recent years. In 2010, Shandong Yantai Wanhua Company's annual output of 360,000 tons of aniline equipment was put into operation, completely breaking the balance of supply and demand of aniline in the domestic market. Since then, the supply of aniline began to exceed supply. In 2011, there were a number of aniline production facilities built and put into operation, such as the 180,000-ton plant of Jilin Connell Chemical Company; the 240,000-ton plant of Shandong Jinling Chemical Company; and the 50,000-ton production facility of Shandong Zhangqiu Riyue Chemical Company. The company also closed its original 15,000-ton production facility and actually increased its production scale by 35,000 tons.

Due to a substantial increase in production capacity, the price of aniline on the Chinese market has been declining since 2011. From 12,000 yuan in January 2011 to *** tons in July 2011 to 9,500 yuan. With the sharp rise in crude oil prices in the international market, the price of chemical raw materials benzene has risen sharply, and the impact of various factors such as the suspension of production of domestic aniline production enterprises, the price of aniline has stabilized and recovered. At present, there are still a number of aniline production facilities in China that are about to be completed or are under construction. For example, Shandong Shangyu Chemical Company has an annual production capacity of 50,000 tons of equipment under construction. It is expected to be completed and put into production in early 2013; Jilin Coal and Jilin Cornell will join forces. An annual production capacity of 800,000 tons of aniline will be built in Tongliao City, Inner Mongolia; Cao County, Shandong Province is planning to build an aniline production plant with an annual output of 100,000 tons.
